Worth knowing

Primitive removes firearms. Bows, spears and melee decide fights. The mode is Facepunch's, so a server running it can still be Official, Community or Modded on top. Expect roughly 30 public Primitive servers on a given day, and expect most of them to sit near empty. A handful carry almost all the players. Population against slots is the first reading on a server's evaluation, so a Primitive server at 80/100 scores better there than one at 5/100. Wipes follow the monthly force wipe on most of these servers; the rest run weekly or biweekly schedules, and a few reset the map every few hours. The Next wipe column counts down to the next reset, with a ~ marking an estimate. Rank orders the table by player hours over the last seven days, not by the evaluation score.

01What counts as a Primitive Rust server?

It runs Facepunch's Primitive game mode, which removes firearms. Combat is limited to bows, spears and melee. A server can run Primitive and still be Official, Community or Modded if it changes anything else.

02Which Primitive servers have players right now?

The table shows the live population for every public Primitive server, refreshed every five minutes. Rows are ordered by players online, so the busiest servers appear first. A server with an empty row has no players at the time of the refresh.

03How often do Primitive Rust servers wipe?

Most follow the monthly force wipe. Some run weekly or biweekly schedules, and a few reset the map every few hours. The Next wipe column shows a countdown for each server, and a ~ marks a scheduled estimate rather than a confirmed time.

04What do the tiers mean on this page?

A server's tier \u2014 Bronze to Titanium \u2014 comes only from its rank on player hours over the last seven days. It is not an average of other metrics. The evaluation score on a server page is separate and never changes the table order.
