Terms of use

Updated 9 October 2026

These terms cover what Rust Server Now provides and what you accept by using it.

What the site is. Rust Server Now lists public Rust servers with live player counts, settings, wipe data and rankings. It refreshes every five minutes. Its ratings and tiers are set only by player numbers and rank.

Data comes from the servers. Counts, names, tags, wipe times and slots are read automatically from Steam's public server list and from the servers themselves. We keep the data as current as we can. A server can report a wipe late, publish a false name, or lose players between refreshes. Treat any figure as a snapshot at a point in time, not a guarantee.

Using the site. Browsing and comparing servers is free and needs no account. Do not flood the site with rapid requests; that slows pages for other players. If you want the full dataset, write to hello@rustservernow.net.

Crawlers and AI tools. Bots, search engines and AI crawlers may fetch the site. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first for what sits where. Keep your fetch rate low enough that normal visitors still get fast pages.

Server owners. Your server appears because it is on the public list. Its page shows only what the server publishes. To change a name, tag, wipe time or slot count, change it on the server. We pick up most edits within five minutes.

No affiliation. Rust Server Now is independent and is not connected to Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Changes to these terms. These terms can change without notice. The date below shows the last change. If you keep using the site after that date, you accept the updated terms.
